The Anchor has fast become the pub to eat in in Hartfield since James Thompson took over in 2011. Head Chef Colin Hartfield has transformed the menu into one that caters for those looking for a pub snack as well as customers who are looking for that little bit extra. The menu is changed every season so that you can be sure that there are suitable dishes for those cold nights in winter as well as those long summer evenings. All produce is local wherever possible.

The Anchor has now become synonomous with Friday Night Steak Night, held every Friday of the year between 6pm and 9.30pm. Try one of our fantastic Aberdeen Angus rump steaks or 21 day matured Ribeye steaks with a drink for £13.95 (usually £17.95 but without the drink). You won't be dissappointed (unless you don't book a table of course as Friday night can be very busy)!
